Adria International Contemporary Music FesTival
About the festival
From October 3rd 2020 in Adria in Italy, a city near Venice, a virtual festival dedicated to today's music has started.
The Artistic Director of the event is Maestro Tiziano Bedetti, Professor at the “A. Buzzolla” State Conservatory of Music of Adria. The event that was done by the patronage of the Municipality of Adria, of the Conservatory "A. Buzzolla" and the Theater "B.C. Ferrini" of Adria had involved composers and musicians from all over the world and many nations including: Australia, Austria, Argentina, England, Finland, Georgia, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Lebanon, Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, United States.

Azio Corghi

Azio Corghi (born 9 March 1937 in Cirié, Piedmont) is an Italian opera composer, also a teacher and musicologist. He was born at Cirié, in the Province of Turin, studied at the Turin and Milan conservatories and was a pupil of Bruno Bettinelli. Corghi held the chair in composition at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and had many famous students, including Silvia Colasanti, Ludovico Einaudi and Fabio Mengozzi.
In 2005 he was made a Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Călin Humă

Călin Humă was born in Iasi, Romania, and has lived in Britain for over two decades.
Being a citizen of two worlds, constitute an abundant reservoir from which Călin extracts his inspiration, such as the Symphony No.1 after the Carpathian Mountains and the Symphony No.2 after Hampshire. Călin's compositions have been described as Neo-Romantic in style, seeking the new within the tonal tradition.
Călin made his debut in Wales over twelve years ago with a short orchestral piece called Joc performed by the Monmouth Festival Orchestra which was soon followed by his Miorita Ballade performed by the Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra in Romania.

Efrem Podgaits (Moscow) was born in 1949. Since 1978, he has been a member of the Russian Union of Composers. From 1982-1990, he was director of the artistic association «Composers and Children».
Podgaits’s works include 13 operas, ballet «Moidodyr»,
4 symphonies; 32 concerti for different instruments and orchestra, the «Lambada-Concerto» for oboe and orchestra, Triple Concerto for violin, cello, piano and orchestra.
The music of E. Podgaits has regularly been performed at musical festivals and competitions in Russia and abroad, including in: Great-Britain, in Turkey, Hungary, Switzerland, France, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus, Tadzhikistan, Georgia, as well as in Italy (Arezzo).

Italian composer (Milano 1957). He is one of the founders of the so-called ‘neoromatic’ music movement, born in 1980, in open opposition to the avant-garde language of the second Viennese School. In 1978, he began at the “UNESCO MusiWorkshop” in Copenhagen, but his real debut is at the Biennale of Venice in 1981, entitled “After Avanguarde” where he was a great public success and critical interest. Its music catalogue contains numerous symphony titles including 2 Symphonies for large orchestra, 4 liric stage Operas, a lot of chamber music. He worked with directors and artists of international reputation; his music is recorded, commissioned, performed in many parts of the world. His music is published Casa Ricordi and Casa Sonzogno , R.T.I.Spa Mediaset and Edizioni Sconfinarte.

ClassicaPlus is an open music project for modern citizens. We like to play contemporary classical music. The target audience of the project is an active part of modern society, appreciating originality and novelty, an interesting plot and cultural parallels, looking for new trends and not tolerating academic boredom. The Classica Plus team are professional musicians who want to push the boundaries of a traditional classical concert and are ready to offer the public original programs with a non-standard selection of works. The main musical format is chamber music, which allows you to establish closer contact with the listener. The goal of the project is to give the listener a charge of musical energy for modern life, expand his cultural horizon.

Born in Japan, Rayna has started playing the piano at the age of 3. Has won numerous awards including the 2nd Romanian International Music Competition Grand Prix, Chopin Magazine Award and others. Based in Tokyo since 2008, she has been performing in various genres such as classical music as well as pop and jazz.
Her life work is the performance and reserch of contemporary and female composers. There is also a lot of collaboration with the Italian composer Tiziano Bedetti who has dedicated a piece of her performed in world premiere to her.
She often appears in the media, including television shows, piano performance guidance for the TV drama “Stork”, and publication in music magazines such as “Chopin”, “Record Art” and “Monthly Piano”.

Oleg Dobrotin

Oleg Dobrotin was born on April 5, 1983 in Moscow. Graduated from music school № 33 named after Glazunov, Gnesins Music School, Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins. Engaged in jazz improvisation and ensemble in the studio of Sergey Manukyan.
In 2005, with saxophonist Vyacheslav Matveev he created a jazz band «JARA». The ensemble plays traditional jazz, Soviet retro and performs on prestigious venues in Moscow. In June 2012, released the author's CD «Crazy Girl». Since 2013, he has been a soloist with the pop orchestra of the Ministry of Justice.
In 2018 he released the songbook «Jazz Pieces for Accordion». Currently he acts as a solo artist and participates in various musical projects. In 2011, Oleg Dobrotin became the official endorser of VICTORIA accordions.

Maurizio Corazza obtained a diploma in Gregorian chant at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, under the guidance of the Masters: R. Baratta, D. Bartolucci, A. Renzi and V. Tosatti. He studied piano with Maestro L. Michelini and subsequently, under the guidance of Maestro G. Agostini, he obtained a diploma in organ and organ composition and a diploma in piano at the Frosinone Conservatory. He has numerous concerts and operas to his credit as organist, pianist, choir director, orchestra conductor. He is titular organist of the church of S. Pietro in Montorio in Rome and Artistic Director of the International Organ Festival which takes place at the same church. He is Professor of Organ and Organ Composition at the "A. He was director of the "Luigi Boccherini" Institute of Music Studies in Lucca, where he teaches History of Music. He edited the Italian Encyclopedia of Contemporary Composers, writing monographs on various figures of the twentieth-century compositional panorama. He has written - among others - about Luciano Berio, Sylvano Bussotti, Gaetano Giani Luporini, Niccolò Castiglioni, Aldo Clementi, Franco Donatoni, Giorgio Gaslini, Franco Margola. He is Consultant of the Giglio Theater in Lucca. In 2012 he published the impressive essay Richard Wagner for the Italian Music Library (LIM). The poetics of the pure human, while in 2015 - for the same publishing house - Reasons and feelings in European music from the beginning of the twentieth century to today came out.

CLAUDIA “LA DEBLA” was born in Barcelona but grew up in Granada; Curro Albaicín baptized her with the artistic name of La Debla. She is considered one of the greatest emerging talents of Spanish flamenco. She is member of the Cultural Association of Flamenco of Granada "Los Lunares", being part of the group at the cave" La Venta el Gallo "in the district of Sacromonte. She has participated in numerous shows with Curro Albaicín, El Niño Osuna, Estrella Morente and others. She performs in various stages of the world. She participates in many programs for Spanish and American television. During the lockdown period, Claudia La Debla made the video "Azafran" in collaboration with the Samhey group and the composer Denis Kucherov, one of the best performers of traditional Indian music in Russia togheter some artist from India and other countries of the world.
